Roberts Road Repairs

A number of residents had inquired about the poor pavement condition of Roberts Road.  The City certainly agrees, but this road is controlled by the Cook County Highway Department so the county is entirely responsible for its maintenance.  The good news is that Cook County plans to start roadway resurfacing this August with a projected completion date in November.  The project will run from 87th Street to 108th Street and includes ADA upgrades, roadway rehabilitation and asphalt resurfacing.  We currently do not know whether the county will work from south to north or north to south.
