June 8, 2020 Update from the Mayor
Hickory Hills now has 117 confirmed COVID cases and 3 related deaths. As everyone seems to be slowly returning to some regular daily activities, please do not get careless because the virus risk remains with us. This remains unquestioned with 111,000 deaths and still climbing in the United States. For the sake of yourself and others please continue to socially distance and wear a mask whenever in indoor public places or outdoor situations where social distancing is difficult. The science is on our side that we are all much safer if we continue to follow these directives that have become part of our daily lives the last 3 months.
Many Hickory Hills Restaurants Have Outdoor Dining
Numerous Hickory Hills restaurants now have outdoor dining open on their patios and under nice temporary tents. According to public health directives outdoor dining is considered low risk and our establishments have also been following the guidelines with their serving staff. Restaurants with outdoor dining options include Primetime, Les Brothers, Vito and Nicks, Xando Café, Janosik and the Sock.
Happy National Best Friends Day
June 8 is National Best Friends Day, a day to honor that one special person you call your “best friend”. This day is a time to show them how much you appreciate them, how special and important they are to you and how you cherish their friendship
