December 31, 2020 Update from the Mayor
Wishing you all a wonderful and safe New Year’s Holiday!
It will be great to put 2020 behind us, but it is so important to acknowledge the amazing every day heroes who remind us that there are so many kind and hard-working people in the world. THANK YOU to the scientists, health care workers, military personnel and first responders, municipal employees, restaurant workers, teachers, delivery and grocery workers and food pantry volunteers (to name just a few) for showing us the strength and compassion of the human spirit. During this most troubling and perilous year, these everyday heroes continued doing their jobs even when their own health and personal safety was at risk. Words cannot express our gratitude to all of them for helping give us hope with each passing day that this pandemic will soon end.
