Effort to Relieve 95^th Street Congestion

For the last few years the City of Hickory Hills has worked with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) to design a dedicated right hand turn lane for east bound 95^th Street traffic turning south on 76^th Avenue.  76^th Avenue is the street on west side of Denny’s that runs south towards the Bridgeview Courthouse.  After a lengthy process, I am pleased to report that IDOT has approved the turn lane construction drawings. We hope to have a construction start date soon.
