North Palos Fire Protection District Referendum

North Palos Fire Protection District Referendum

The North Palos Fire Protection District (“District”) has placed a referendum on the November 6, 2018 ballot to increase revenue and prevent reductions in service. As reported on the District’s website, the referendum seeks to increase the District’s annual operating levy funding $104 for the owner of a $200,000 home. That is less than $8.67 per month or .29 cents per day based on this example.

The District will be hosting two Informational sessions aimed at providing details on the upcoming referendum. These “Coffee with the Fire Chief” events will give residents of the District the opportunity to receive firsthand information about the referendum as well as the opportunity to ask questions and to provide feedback.

The events are scheduled for:
Tuesday, October 9 at 7:00 PM
Saturday, October 27 at 9:00 AM

Both events are located at North Palos Fire District station 1, located at 10629 S. Roberts Road, Palos Hills, IL.
