May 1, 2020 Update from the Mayor
Today, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) announced 3,137 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois. Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 56,055 cases, including 2,457 deaths, in 97 counties in Illinois. There are now 63 confirmed COVID cases in Hickory Hills with 2 reported deaths. Oak Lawn has 343 cases with 36 deaths; Bridgeview has 175 cases and 21 deaths and Palos Hills has 88 cases with 5 confirmed deaths.
