June 1 Protest Update

Citizen of Hickory Hills,

At the time of this writing, it is 10 a.m. I am pleased to report that there was no protest related incidents of violence or vandalism last night in Hickory Hills. Police Chief Hobart reports that all was quiet in town last night and he will continue to keep a close watch on the situation. Our police will remain on heightened alert with extra patrols deployed until further notice. Any businesses in town that remain closed would be doing so voluntarily out of caution. Though we have been fortunate with no activity in our town, I would still suggest staying home or close to home again this evening.
