Blizzard and Waste Pick Up Moved Back One Day

The city of Hickory Hills was hit with 14.5” of snow in the last 24 hours. A big thanks to our hard working public works team as they have been operating snow plows round the clock since 4 am. on Monday. We appreciate your patience as crews continue to clear the streets of blowing and drifting snow from last night.

Due to the heavy snow, Waste Management has notified the city that your regularly scheduled waste pick up will be pushed back one day. Monday’s was picked up. Tuesday will be Wednesday and Wednesday will be on Thursday. Waste Management will return to its regular operating schedule next week.
