Mosquito Spraying In Town This Evening

Just received from the Desplaines Valley Mosquito Abatement District:

Due to elevated levels of West Nile Virus and the mosquitoes that carry
it, adult mosquito control operations are planned for Thursday, August
31st, between the hours of 7:30 PM and midnight (weather permitting) for
all areas within the villages of Bedford Park (West of Harlem Ave),
Bridgeview (North of 87th St. and West of Harlem Ave), Countryside
(Except North of Plainfield and South of I-55), Hinsdale (Within Cook
County), Hickory Hills (North of 87th St), Hodgkins, Indian Head Park
(North of I-55), Justice, Summit, and unincorporated Lyons Township
South of 55th St.

Additionally, any listed villages with portions South of 87th St. and
within the South Cook County Mosquito Abatement District are to be sprayed as well.

Farmer’s Market Friday Morning in City Hall Parking Lot  7 a.m. – 1 p.m.
