City Storm Removal Work Continues

The City continues to work on storm damage cleanup from the summer storms.  Damaged right- of- way trees are being evaluated for trimming or if necessary, removal.

Residents will receive notice if the tree(s) need to be removed. Activities are being completed in-house and by contractors. It has been a very busy season for all tree type activities and we appreciate your patience. If you have any specific questions for your address please reach out to Public Works at 708-598-7855.

On a related note, I appreciate the resident who reached out to caution all of us about hanging tree limbs on private property.  We encourage you to inspect trees on your property to ensure that there are no hanging hazards that might come crashing down on a windy day.
